COURSE SCHEDULE

Course includes 3 Saturday classes from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm with a White Tantric Yoga Course held in Austin on Saturday, February 21st from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and 29 Sunday classes from 12:30 pm to 6:30 all held at Divine Yoga. Break for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
• Attend 5 scheduled morning sadhanas (daily practice)

• Attend a White Tantric Yoga Course

• Attend 20 Kundalini Yoga classes
(This requirement may be fulfilled during or after completion of the course.)

• 180 classroom hours/40 hours assigned homework

• Passing grade on KRI exam and satisfactory practicum presentation

• Enrollment in National IKYTA or 3HO IKYTA

• Sign and uphold the KRI/3HO Code of Professional Standards for Kundalini Yoga Teachers



ABOUT THE COURSE
The Aquarian Teacher program is the KRI Level 1 Certification program in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. In Level 1 you will become an Instructor and gain a deep understanding and experience of the core of the science of Kundalini Yoga. You will develop the skill to instruct students in Kundalini Yoga kriyas and meditations as taught by Yogi Bhajan. You will practice teaching Kundalini Yoga in a practicum setting, participate in early morning Sadhanas (spiritual practice), and experience the powerful transformation energy of White Tantric Yoga. This is a 220 hour course, which includes 180 hours of classroom instruction in a well-defined curriculum which includes:

• Teaching Kundalini Yoga Postures, Kriyas & Meditation
• The Role of a Kundalini Yoga Teacher
• Yogic Philosophy & The Origin of Kundalini Yoga
• Yogic & Western Anatomy
• Humanology & 3HO Yogic Lifestyle



ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Mhan Rishi Singh Khalsa and his wife, Amrit Kaur Khalsa, are Co-Directors of Divine Yoga. They are also KRI certified Kundalini Yoga Instructors, Licensed Teacher Trainers and Experienced Registered Yoga Teachers through Yoga Alliance. Mhan Rishi has taught Kundalini Yoga nationally in Chicago, The University of Wisconsin, and the Midwest. Amrit, in addition to serving as Co-Director of Divine Yoga, is Lead Teacher Trainer for the San Antonio area, teaches yoga for a local college, a pain management clinic and The Watermark Spa. Between them, they have over 40 years of experience in training students in the art and science of Kundalini Yoga. Mhan Rishi’s wisdom and experience combined with Amrit’s humor and practical approach will maximize each participant’s training experience.

Guest speakers are Sat Kartar Singh Khalsa and his wife, Hari Kirn Kaur Khalsa, of the 3HO Foundation of Houston, Texas. Sat Kartar holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree and is a Licensed Acupuncturist. Hari Kirn conducts Yoga Humanology and Healing Arts workshops internationally throughout North and South America. Together, Sat Kartar and Hari Kirn will be adding their knowledge and applied experience of teaching Kundalini Yoga for over 40 years to the program.
