The Teachers
Mhan Rishi Singh Khalsa and Amrit Kaur Khalsa serve as Co-Directors of Divine Yoga, are KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga Instructors and Licensed Teacher Trainers. They are members of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association, 3HO (the largest accredited Yoga Teachers Organization in the world) and Yoga Alliance. Mhan Rishi and Amrit both have ERYT status (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), the highest status offered through Yoga Alliance. Between them, they have over 40 years of experience instructing students in the art and science of Kundalini Yoga. Their wisdom, experience, humor and practical, interactive approach maximizes each participant’s experience.

Amrit Kaur Khalsa, a native San Antonian, has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 1994. She is KRI certified, licensed, member of IKYTA and 500 hr. RYTA with Yoga Alliance. In addition to serving as Co-Director of Divine Yoga, she also teaches Kundalini Yoga at the Mokara Spa, St. Philip's College and San Antonio College. She is also Lead Teacher Trainer of the Kundalini Yoga Certification Program for the San Antonio area. Amrit enjoys helping people through the healing technology of Kundalini Yoga and seeing the vastly improved happiness, health and spiritual growth in her students
Mhan Rishi Singh Khalsa, born in southern Indiana, is Co-Director with Amrit. He is KRI certified, licensed, member of IKYTA and registered with Yoga Alliance. Mhan Rishi has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 1976. He has taught yoga classes and workshops nationally in Chicago, The University of Wisconsin, Texas and the Midwest. His students benefit from the wealth of experience, knowledge, depth, insight, and wisdom he brings to each of his classes.
Angela Harper is KRI Certified and has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 2003. Angela also teaches Kundalini Yoga to professionals in the healthcare industry. Angela brings an energetic, positive energy to each of her classes. Angela loves helping people, is an animal and nature lover and enjoys camping and canoeing.
Madeline Brown-Hernandez (Siri Swami Kaur) is KRI Certified, a Native New Yorker and speaks Spanish. She holds a Master's degree in Education and is certified in Reiki, Accupressure and Reflexolgoy. Madeline believes it is important to achieve overall harmony in body, mind and spirit. Her goal for her students is to help them establish a profound feeling of peace, contentment and connectedness with the Universe.
Alissa Smith is KRI Certified. She is also certified in Prenatal and Postnatal yoga. Kundalini Yoga techniques helped Alissa so much throughout her pregnancy and delivery that she decided to teach moms-to-be work towards and experience a beautiful, conscious childbirth. Alissa also teaches prenatal yoga in alliance with Bradley Method instructors. She is currently working towards a doula certification. She enjoys gardening, & loves to cook.
Jasmine Kindle-Dennis (Liv Kiret) is KRI Certified. Jasmine's yoga path began unfolding in 1994. It was not until she walked into a Kundalini Yoga class that she truly began to understand the way of yoga. Jasmine has a background in healthcare and is a Master Reiki Practioner. In addition, Jasmine is a multi media artist, dancer, and aspiring musician sharing her love of art, dance, and yoga with children in an afterschool enrichment program at a local Montessori school.
Jules Harmon (Sat Bachan Kaur) is KRI Certified. She is retired Lieutenant Colonel of the US Air Force (USAF) and holds a Master's degree in Public Administration. Jules has experience in the Alexander Technique, Emotional Freedom Technique, Quantum Touch, and Sat Nam Rasayan. Her interest in the science, technology, history, psychology, physiology, and vibration (mantra) of yoga and the impact of Kundalini Yoga on her quality of life has her pursuing creditation as a 500-Hour Registered Kundalini Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. Jules creates a safe and supportive space for students to experience yoga.
Lesli Flores (Gurbani) is KRI Certified. Lesli Flores (Gurbani) is KRI certified and is a native of
San Antonio. She is a raw food chef specializing in organic vegan
cuisine. She has a keen interest in singing, music,
poetry, animals and nature and has years of experience providing pet care service for
all types of animals. Lesli believes the key to a balanced life lies
in all the ways one cares for the body and the spirit. As a yoga instructor, she provides a peaceful and
nurturing experience for advanced practitioners and beginners
alike.
